Voter Thursday: Record turnout spells trouble for Congress

The record turnout of voters in the third phase of the Lok Sabha election on Thursday is an indicator of change. It cannot be anybody's argument that the voters came out in large numbers to endorse the incompetent incumbent Government at the Centre. A more credible explanation is that the figures tell the story of a strong anti-incumbency factor at play.
