A day after former coal secretary P.C. Parakh attacked the CBI for its investigation into the coal scam, the agency was slammed by the guest speaker at its own function. Former West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi called the organisation the government's "hatchet" and "department of dirty tricks".
