UP and Bihar bellwether states

It's a truism that the road to Raisina Hill will pass through the critical states of UP and Bihar, which have 120 of 543 Lok Sabha seats between them. For that reason, both states are in the midst of aggressive and intense campaigning. In recent Lok Sabha polls, these states have been dominated by regional parties such as SP, BSP, JD(U) and RJD.
