No vacancy at top in Congress for Priyanka: Shashi Tharoor

The Congress on Saturday sought to scotch speculation that rough political weather facing the party could lead to Priyanka Gandhi playing a bigger role in the organization. "Congress has a president and a vice-president, who is not only functioning but also active. Of course, Priyanka Gandhi is campaigning in two Lok Sabha constituencies (Amethi and Rae Bareli)," party spokesperson Shashi Tharoor told reporters, stressing that that the younger of the Gandhi sibiling had restricted herself to the two seats.
