BJP trashes Geelnai emissary talk claim

The BJP on Saturday rejected the claim of Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani that its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi had sent emissaries to meet him over the Kashmir issue and demanded an apology from the hardliner. Describing Geelani's claims as baseless and mischievous, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad denied that any person representing Modi had ever met the separatist leader.
