Govt shadow over DD hurts credibility: Prasar Bharati CEO

The Doordarshan-Modi controversy grew bigger on Friday. In a letter to the board, Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar claimed the "shadow of government" dents Doordarshan's "credibility" and criticised the role of I&B Minister Manish Tewari for ignoring requests for more autonomy.
