Bengal: BJP, CPM seek repoll as TMC workers loot booths

The seventh phase of polling for 89 seats saw moderate to high turnout in seven States and two Union Territories on Wednesday. The highlight of the day was West Bengal which registered a massive turnout of 83 per cent amid allegation of large-scale booth capturing, intimidation of voters and violence. Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, where Union Minister and NC leader Farooq Abdullah is in fray, saw the lowest polling of 25.62 per cent.
