Guess why the US is now looking like China?

We are living in interesting times. The scripts of global power games are being rewritten and the roles reversed. The US of America -- the self-appointed global watchdog of freedom, liberty and human rights -- is now looking like an authoritarian state that spies on its own people, kills its citizens on mere suspicion and indulges in extra-judicial imprisonment and killing of suspects. And, believe it or not, China is now emerging as the new refuge of whistleblowers, running away from that "oppressing" country.
