Himachal on edge as monsoon fury leaves 157 dead, landslides shut 260 roads

Himachal Pradesh's monsoon misery is deepening by the day, with as many as 259 roads blocked across the state and landslides and rain-related incidents claiming 157 lives. Nearly 900 properties and public works have been damaged amid the relentless rainfall, with losses estimated around Rs 886 crore, according to the latest State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) report.
