Some good news at last
That top Lashkar-e-Tayyeba operatives Thadiyantavide Nazeer and his aide Shafaz were sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment for their role in the 2006 Kozhikode twin bombings by a special court in Kochi last Friday would suggest that the National Investigation Agency, which has been created to investigate terrorism-related incidents, has been diligent in pursuing this particular case. Nazeer, the prime accused, has been given three life terms and Shafaz, the fourth accused in the case, has been handed down two in what is the first NIA-investigated terror case taken to its logical conclusion.
