It's not just rates

Should RBI have increased interest rates yet again? That seems to be the dominant policy question following its rate hike last Friday. But the question should actually be this: Should the UPA government continue to be slow and unimaginative in policymaking? A softer monetary stance won`t kill worries about UPA`s policy stasis and its impact on growth prospects.
