US proscribes desi jihadis

The US State Department’s recent decision to tag India-based terror outfit Indian Mujahideen as a ‘foreign terrorist organisation’ has expectedly elicited a positive response from mandarins in New Delhi.  The announcement which was made this past Thursday was after all a very public acknowledgement of the fact that India is indeed one of the countries that is worst-hit by jihadi terror.
