Rambling rhetoric

The Prime Minister’s speech at the ongoing session of the United Nations General Assembly would have merited only passing attention had he not come dangerously close to declaring a virtual U-turn in India’s foreign policy as it has evolved over the past two decades, breaking free of the Nehruvian era’s vacuous moralising and bogus posturing that left India in caught in a time-warp of its own making while the rest of the world moved on, preferring to ignore us.
