Goa: Congress hand in mammoth mining scam

News of rampant illegal mining in Goa, which has been going on for a long time under the auspices of the Congress Government in that State, has understandably caused outrage and fetched criticism. The PAC report that indicts Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat for his role in the mining scam comes only weeks after the CBI arrested Karnataka’s mining baron G Janardhan Reddy for allegedly running a similar mining scam in his State.
