Whistle-blowers punished

Although the UPA regime waxes eloquent on the need to protect and even encourage whistle-blowers who spill the beans in the larger interests of the nation, it has done exactly the opposite while dealing with the cash-for-vote scandal. The Delhi Police, which reports to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, has come down like a tonne of bricks on those who exposed the scandalous attempt to bribe Opposition MPs in exchange of their voting for the UPA during the infamous confidence motion moved by the Prime Minister after the Left withdrew its support.
