Criminal raj in Rajasthan

The Congress Government in Rajasthan hurtles from one crisis to another without any indication that it has a grip on the situation. Whether it is the communal flare-up in Bharatpur district or the kidnapping of folk dancer Bhanwari Devi or the gunning down of political leaders, the State’s Chief Minister, Mr Ashok Gehlot, has remained clueless on how to handle the developments. In fact, these events have demonstrated that there is no effective Government in place.
