Duplicitous Congress silent on mining scam in Goa

The Congress had gone on an overdrive after the Karnataka Lokayukta had named the then Chief Minister of the State, Mr BS Yeddyurappa, in its report on illegal mining, and the party kept on ranting till he resigned from office. But very conveniently the Congress has adopted a different yardstick in the case of Goa, where its own Government has been put in the dock by the State Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee over rampant illegal mining.
