No dilution of army presence in J&K

Politicians tend to play to the gallery but when the gallery is occupied by separatists and militants, it becomes a matter of concern. And when the politician happens to be the chief minister of such a politically sensitive state as Jammu and Kashmir, the concern becomes graver. While addressing a police function near Srinagar on Friday, Omar Abdullah said some parts of Kashmir might soon be free from the Disturbed Areas Act, thus paving the way for the withdrawal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act.
