Our slothful babus

Whether it is in response to Anna Hazare’s campaign against corruption or an attempt to stem the rising tide of popular anger, the UPA Government has wisely decided to set up a mechanism to redress the grievances of the people on account of poor services. For far too long people have been snubbed and exploited by Government departments that they approach with their problems. Either their grievances are not resolved or they have to run from pillar to post filling the pockets of greedy officials in the hope of getting justice.
