For years, the city's wholesale hubs like Sadar Bazaar have imported joy for the masses from China. A whole new generation of bold traders - willing to risk the food, language barrier and unpredictable officialdom of China for fat margins - made their millions bringing back ever-bigger consignments of goods from monthly trips.
