New Delhi: The Planning Commission on Saturday said it would be a challenging task to achieve 9% annual economic growth during the 12th Five-Year Plan (2012-17) amid a tough global economic environment. “Right now the global economy does not look good. At the moment, I feel that 9% (annual economic growth rate) is still feasible, but more difficult than it was six months ago,” Planning Commission deputy chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia told reporters.
